Youth Services Temp Kamloops, BC $29.22 - $33.54 CAD per hour

- Diploma in Human or Social services or other related field
- Experience working with a care team to support youth with diverse needs.
- Or a combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid Class 5 or Class 7 Driver’s license and protected driving record
- Access to reliable transportation to report to the scheduled shifts on time. Access to a vehicle is an asset.
- Consent to Criminal Record and Background Check by the MCFD Hub.
- This position requires Union membership and 1.85% union dues are deducted from each pay.
- Following trainings are required and provided to the successful candidate free of charge. Existing certification is an asset:



Emergency First Aid with CPR-C, Mandt-RCT, Safe Talk, Safe Food Handling, Medication Management, MCFD Privacy, Abuse and Neglect Awareness training, Anti-Bullying, and Harassment.
- Physical requirements of the job include performing household duties, including yard work, snow removal, general cleaning duties, etc.

- COMPENSATION: $29.22-$33.54 (Grid 11 as per collective agreement)
- Annual vacation starting from 3 weeks after 1 year and increasing with seniority, as per the Collective Agreement
