Exciting recent Community based opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to support clients throughout the North Okanagan region.

This position is a term specific (temporary) full-time opportunity in the Connected Care at Home Pilot program expected to run until March 31, 2028 .

This position supports clients in Vernon including the Westside Road area, Armstrong, Enderby and Cherryville. A current valid B.C. drivers license and access to a reliable and appropriately insured personal vehicle is a requirement of this role.

About the role: The Occupational Therapist works independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, and may be providing a full range of occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.



• Implement therapy programs to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes. • Provide consultation, education, and support to clients and their caregivers. • Prescribe and recommend appropriate equipment to enhance daily living. • Participate in program planning, quality assurance initiatives, research, and departmental meetings. • Offer guidance and work direction to rehabilitation assistants regarding transfer of function.
