We are looking for an experienced finance leader to guide financial reporting, planning, and administrative operations for a healthcare-focused organization here in Edmonton, Alberta.

This role will provide strategic insight to support senior leadership and board decisions, while strengthening financial processes, controls, and long-term sustainability.

The successful candidate will oversee core accounting functions, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, and will foster solid collaboration across leadership, human resources, funders, and external partners.

Responsibilities: • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning to support operational priorities and organizational sustainability. • Deliver clear financial reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the board. • Evaluate funding structures, reporting obligations, and sector trends to identify financial impacts and support informed decision-making.



• Partner with leadership and human resources to assess compensation planning, staffing models, and the financial effects of workforce decisions. • Oversee accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow management, and capital and operating budgets. • Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and reporting procedures to protect assets and maintain compliance with funder and audit requirements. • Direct annual audit preparation and ensure financial records and processes remain accurate, complete, and audit-ready. • Manage financial aspects of vendor agreements, purchasing activities, insurance, leases, and related corporate administration functions. • Build, mentor, and lead a finance and corporate services team committed to accuracy, accountability, and service excellence.
