Job Title: Project Manager Job Description This position involves supporting the planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement coordination, and execution of multiple complex subsea equipment build programs.

The Project Manager will work directly with engineering, production, procurement, and finance teams to manage the lifecycle of drill system builds, robotic arm programs, engineering improvement initiatives, and production activities.

Responsibilities Create and maintain project schedules.

Manage project budgets and track costs.

Coordinate suppliers and procurement activities.

Track and forecast project expenditures.

Identify and manage risks proactively.

Improve project execution processes.

Provide regular cash flow, forecasting, and project status updates.

Manage multiple concurrent projects.

Essential Skills At least 3 years of project management experience within a product development environment.

Experience managing electromechanical product development projects for at least 3 years.

Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines.

Experience managing projects using MS Projects or Smartsheets.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Understanding of manufacturing workflows and production operations.

Experience managing projects valued at approximately $5M or more. PMP certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Engineering degree, diploma, or technical experience .

Experience with fabrication, machining, assembly, or OEM manufacturing environments.





Experience in marine robotics, offshore, underwater technology, or ocean technology sectors.

Experience supporting commissioning activities.

Eligibility for occasional international travel.

Work Setting This role is primarily in office, reporting directly to the Product Delivery Manager within a small Canadian operation of approximately 20-30 employees.

The work environment is collaborative, involving engineering, production, procurement, and finance teams.

The project environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent interaction with global teams.

Flexibility is offered for occasional personal appointments or work-from-home needs, with a high degree of independence and ownership expected.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnaby, BC.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
