Water and wastewater treatment design define this Intermediate Process Mechanical Engineer role with Stantec in Edmonton or Red Deer, Alberta. You will support Stantec’s Water group on regional treatment and infrastructure projects. The position focuses on process mechanical design, technology selection, hydraulic calculations, and engineering packages. You will collaborate with clients, disciplines, and regional and international subject matter experts while contributing to project delivery. Key Responsibilities:

Lead conceptual designs and treatment technology selection Finalize preliminary and detailed engineering design packages Prepare drawings, specifications, P&IDs;, and PFDs Size pumps, blowers, chemical systems, and major equipment Lead system start-up and commissioning activities Requirements:

Minimum five years in water or wastewater treatment projects Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, or environmental engineering Skilled Engineer designation or APEGA eligibility Advanced treatment technology knowledge and design leadership Valid Class 5 driver’s license Apply process mechanical expertise, treatment technology knowledge, and design leadership to Stantec water projects in Alberta.
