Appointment Details The base salary range for Contract Lectures hired August 16, 2026 through August 15, 2027 is $79,644.07 to $101,855.82 per annum.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

Contract amounts are calculated based on the number of semester hours in the appointment.

Course Information Course Semester/Term Hours/Section Estimated Number of Students CPS213 W2027 3 Hours 45-90 Computer Organization I This course introduces the students to the principles and fundamentals of digital system design.

Topics covered include: Binary numbers, base conversions, signed numbers, Boolean algebra, logic gates, K-map method, combinational circuits, decoders/encoders, multiplexers, sequential circuits, flip-flops, state diagram, registers, counters and addressing techniques. (2 hr Lab every other week).

Schedule TBD a) A full workload half-sessional appointment is for 15 hours in any one semester. b) A reduced workload half-sessional appointment is for at least 9 but less than 15 semester hours in any one semester. c) A part-time hourly appointment / one semester is for less than 9 hours in any one semester.

Education PhD. or equivalent in field related to target course PhD (or equivalent) Teaching Experience Teaching target or similar course at TMU graduate program.

Teaching target or similar course at TMU undergraduate program or another university undergraduate program.

Practice field experience Current (past 3 years) practice in related fields 6-10 (depends on quality of experience, including relevance to course, level of responsibility, relevant qualified accreditation, etc.) Past (more than 3) years ago) practice in a related field.

Currency Academic publications (refereed) in the past 5 years.

Academic publications more than 5 years ago or current (less than 5 years) professional profile (including professional or academic presentations).

Other demonstrated professional currency (practitioner writing, courses taken).
