This chance is unique to active-duty US Military Service members with formal approval to participate as a SkillBridge Intern in collaboration with Vets2PM’s authorized SkillBridge program.

You will gain hands-on experience during your internship and will have the opportunity to join (upon successful completion of the internship) one of the world's leading technology companies.

Position Overview & Objective:





The Project Procurement Manager SkillBridge Intern will support strategic sourcing and project procurement activities for Siemens customer projects throughout Georgia and Alabama. Participants will transition military leadership, logistics, contracting, engineering, construction, maintenance, and operational experience into commercial construction procurement. This role manages third-party spending on materials, equipment, and trade subcontractors; supports bid and proposal efforts; develops sourcing strategies; conducts RFQs/RFPs; performs bid leveling; negotiates commercial terms; and partners with sales, engineering, finance, and operations teams to improve project competitiveness and profitability. Interns will receive structured on-the-job training in construction procurement, contract administration, supplier management, cost reduction, negotiation, analytics, and project execution while aligning military competencies with civilian procurement leadership careers.

Responsibilities and learning opportunities include but are not limited to:

- Managing sourcing events for construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted trade scopes
- Leading RFQ/RFP development, subcontractor solicitations, bid evaluations, and award recommendations
