About Opportunity Our client, a rapidly growing organization in the consumer goods sector, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance team on a 6-month maternity leave contract.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of collections, credit approvals, and customer payment applications, supporting both Canadian and U.S. operations.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, enjoys managing a variety of customer relationships, and brings strong communication and organizational skills.

What You'll Do: Assist with day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including payments, collections, invoices, credits, and account reconciliations.

Follow up with customers on outstanding balances and assist with collections.

Assist with customer account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

Process customer credits and assist with return/credit requests.

Assist with invoicing and related AR tasks as required.





Maintain accurate AR records, documentation, and supporting schedules.

Work closely with the AR Supervisor and other members of the finance team to resolve customer account issues.

Provide general administrative and reporting support to the AR function as needed.

What You'll Bring: 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or credit/collections experience.

Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Comfortable communicating with customers and following up on outstanding balances.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Good Excel and general accounting software skills.

Previous experience in consumer products, distribution, or retail is an asset. A positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
