Position Overview The Clerk 3 provides receptionist duties for the Diagnostic Services department and is the primary point of contact for patients/clients receiving services in department.

The Clerk 3 is responsible for the provision of a variety of clerical and administrative duties within the Diagnostic Services department.

The Clerk 3 strives to provide best practice Diagnostic Imaging Services on a regional basis in order to promote positive health and quality of life.

Experience Experience as a clerk receptionist in a hospital or doctor’s office in the last five (5) years.

Experience with Diagnostic Services applications within the last five (5) years.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 12 education, Manitoba Standards.

Completion of a recognized medical terminology course or program, Level I and II (or equivalent).

Evidence of attending continuing education and/or in-services.





Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and Power

Point), as well as Internet applications.

Demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Demonstrated communication skills.

Demonstrated flexibility to facilitate changes in techniques and procedures.

Ability to display independent judgment.

Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.

Ability to respect and promote confidentiality.

Ability to perform the duties of the position on a regular basis.
