Operate project equipment safely with CANA Construction in Edmonton-area sites while supporting physically demanding construction work in changing weather.

The Skilled Labourer/Operator supports CANA’s safety program and follows company policies, equipment instructions, and applicable regulations. This position combines labourer duties with operation of Zoomboom, rough terrain forklift, and skidsteer equipment. Daily commuting to project sites is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load and unload materials and equipment safely
- Execute safe rigging practices on project sites
- Complete inspections, routine maintenance, and equipment fueling
- Operate equipment within stated guidelines and limitations
- Support housekeeping,



material management, and labourer duties

Requirements:

- Ticketed, competent experience operating relevant project equipment
- Valid driver’s license or transportation to project sites
- Good physical condition and fitness for work
- Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
- Understanding of OH&S; regulations and information sources
