Plan therapeutic recreation programs at Yee Hong for long-term care residents, using creativity and resident-centred programming to support quality of life. Reporting to the Activation Manager, the Activation Worker plans and conducts daily activation, recreational, and social programs. The work supports Yee Hong’s resident-centred approach in a long-term care home. Candidates may work full-time, part time, or casual shifts, including days, evenings, or nights. Key Responsibilities: Plan daily activation programs for long-term care residents Conduct recreational and social programs for residents Develop meaningful programs within a tight budget Support residents’ quality of life in the home Support clients and teams positively and efficiently Requirements: Diploma in recreation, leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, or kinesiology Experience facilitating activation or therapeutic recreation programs Superb customer service skills and computer literacy Current CPR and Food Handler Safety Certificates English and Chinese communication; lifting, transfers, andtravel required Bring therapeutic recreation, creativity, and resident-centred programming skills to Yee Hong’s long-term care activation services. #J-18808-Ljbffr
