The Electrician installs, repairs, tests, and maintains wiring, controls, motors, and other electrical devices. This position requires a Journeyperson Construction Electrician Certification and Electrical Journeyperson License. Candidates need nine months of post-ticket industrial or commercial maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install wiring, controls, motors, and electrical devices
- Repair electrical wiring, controls, motors, and devices
- Test electrical systems and other devices
- Maintain electrical equipment within Plant Maintenance
Requirements:
- Electrical Journeyperson License under the Electrical Licensing Act
- Journeyperson Construction Electrician Certification
- Nine months post-ticket industrial or commercial maintenance experience
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Computer, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Use independent work skills to maintain hospital electrical systems while supporting Victoria Hospital’s Plant Maintenance department in Prince Albert.
