Lead Asset-Based Lending growth at BMO in Montréal through business development, client relationships, and customized financing solutions for commercial borrowers. As Senior Director, you will lead regional origination activities and recent transaction execution for BMO’s ABL line of business. The work spans refinancings, mergers and acquisitions, growth initiatives, recapitalizations, and restructurings. You will advise clients, senior leaders, and stakeholders while coordinating underwriting and sales activities. Key Responsibilities:





Lead business development and marketing plans for ABL growth Originate and execute new financing transactions across varied scenarios Advise customers and senior leaders on strategic business decisions Develop business cases with underwriting teams and assess returns Manage complex portfolio risk, documentation, and policy adherence Requirements:

Typically 10+ years of relevant experience and related post-secondary education Successful business development and external market networking history Knowledge of industry verticals and competitive market environments Experience negotiating contracts with clients and legal counsel In-depth risk, sales, relationship management, and financial understanding Bring ABL origination, strategic advisory, and relationship management expertise to BMO’s commercial banking growth initiatives.
