As a Student Food Services Worker on the Dal Food Services team, you will prepare food, maintain workstations, and support guests. The role develops customer service and social skills through daily service activities. Prior experience is an asset but is not required as the most important qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items using standardized recipes and directions
- Store food according to established standards
- Set up prep tables and service counters
- Clean and sanitize workstations after service
- Serve customers and replenish appropriately stocked food items
Requirements:
- Food service experience is an asset
- Valid WHMIS and Food Secure certification is an asset
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work supervised and unsupervised
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
