Title: General Labour - Fabric Technician

Location: Guelph South

Wage: $21.96/hr.

Shift: Afternoons 3pm–11pm | Nights 11pm–7pm Monday to Friday

We have immediate openings for Fabric Technicians to perform general duties in a bright, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. Successful candidates will be responsible for fusing and heat-sealing fabrics while meeting production standards.

Job Description

- Read and interpret fabric drawings
- Fuse large fabric pieces together using heat sealing equipment
- Work collaboratively in a small team setting
- Stand, bend, squat, pull, and lift materials (team lifting often required)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all company health and safety procedures

Requirements

- Ability to perform physically active tasks including standing, bending, squatting, and lifting
- Team-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately
- Comfortable in a bright, temperature-controlled workspace
- No safety shoes required; footwear should have white soles to avoid marking fabric
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is an asset

Additional Information

- Training provided on dayshift for a few weeks, if required
