Develop complex energy services projects with Trane Technologies using energy analysis, HVAC solutions, and cross-functional project leadership. Work onsite Monday through Thursday, with versatile Fridays.
As a Senior Project Developer, you will support Trane’s Energy Solutions team in acquiring and executing design-build turnkey and energy performance contracting projects. The work combines project management, technical expertise, and sales acumen. You will develop scopes, cost estimates, savings analyses, proposals, and customer-facing financials for projects typically ranging from $2 million to $20 million. Collaboration includes sales leaders, engineers, project managers, technicians, customers, consultants, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive energy services solutions and conservation measures
Create HVAC scopes, engineering analyses, and system validations




Lead design documents through construction and post-construction phases
Develop project costs, financials, and customer-facing pro formas
Support customer relationships, presentations, and acquisition teams
Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Engineering strongly preferred
Minimum 10 years in energy or HVAC design or contracting
Project management and cross-functional leadership skills
Strong mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and construction knowledge
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, and design software
