Principal Software Engineer leading identity, authentication, and authorization for Conga’s B2B Platform Engineering Core Services team in hybrid Houston or Boston.
This senior, hands-on role owns platform security capabilities used across Conga’s B2B products. You will set technical direction for shared identity services, lead 5 to 8 engineers, and partner with Advantage Platform. The work spans secure integrations, distributed systems, and reusable platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: Lead platform-level authentication and authorization services
Design cross-product identity, access control, and tenant context services
Define secure B2B and Advantage integration patterns
Mentor engineers through reviews, threat modeling, and readiness




Investigate security-sensitive incidents and drive remediation
Requirements: 8+ years building backend enterprise SaaS services at scale
3+ years designing shared identity and security services
Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and token authentication
Contemporary backend language and RESTful API experience
Experience leading engineers and cross-platform technical initiatives
Shape Conga’s authentication, authorization, and identity foundations across B2B products, Advantage integrations, and AI experiences.
