Lead sales tax recovery engagements at Ryan, using GST, PST, and accounting expertise while working independently or with Managers and Directors.
The Senior Manager identifies sales and fuels tax savings opportunities for clients. You will research issues, review client records, and use Ryan eReview® to identify exposure areas. The position includes onsite client work, recovery analysis, and comprehensive reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct recovery engagements at client facilities
Review sales tax payments and input tax credits
Identify federal and provincial fuels tax recoveries
Prepare refund claims and supporting schedules
Present comprehensive engagement reports to clients
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Accounting or Finance
Qualified accounting designation and four to six years’ experience
Basic GST and PST administration knowledge
Intermediate Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook knowledge
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
Apply accounting, indirect tax, client communication, and research skills to deliver sales tax recovery results for Ryan clients.
