Serve visitors at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa using customer service, ticketing, sales, and cash-handling skills. Holiday-season part time and occasional schedules are available.
Working with the Visitor Planning team, the Host provides welcoming experiences and communicates museum offers, amenities, and experiences. You will use the ticketing system, promote memberships and products, process payments, and support visitor satisfaction. The position is located at the Victoria Memorial Museum Building.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality service to visitors, clients, and members
Sell memberships and museum products using established techniques
Promote offers in person and over the phone
Process payments and balance cash drawers
Collect comments and conduct visitor surveys
Requirements: Completion of secondary school or equivalent
Experience providing proactive service and communicating visitor needs
Experience promoting products or services to meet customer needs
Experience delivering high-quality service within a team
Legal entitlement to work in Canada
Bring visitor service, sales, ticketing, and cash-handling abilities to the Canadian Museum of Nature’s Ottawa team.
