Provide resident care at AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere as a Health Care Aide, applying safe basic-care skills under Licensed Practical Nurse supervision.
This part time regular Health Care Aide position supports AgeCare residents as part of a collaborative care team. You will provide thorough personal care, transfers, feeding assistance, routine treatments, and mobility support. The work location is AgeCare Dawson at 77 Merganser Drive West, Chestermere, Alberta.
Key Responsibilities: Bath, shower, and wash residents following NCP procedures
Assist transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
Feed residents according to their care plans
Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
Accompany residents to dining, therapy, and recreation activities
Requirements: Recognized Personal Care Aide or equivalent certificate
Active CLHA registration as required
Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
One year of continuing-care experience preferred
Post-secondary education considered an asset
