Facilitate outdoor recreation programs at the Kinark Outdoor Centre using lifeguarding expertise and strong safety leadership. Work with children, youth, families, and groups.

Reporting to Program Supervisors, this facilitator creates safe, positive programming for participants. Activities include rock climbing, high ropes, hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, snowshoeing, skiing, tubing, and broomball. The role also supports waterfront safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interact with children and youth while fostering participant interaction
- Facilitate seasonal outdoor recreation activities and group development
- Adapt programs to participants’ wants and needs
- Monitor waterfront safety for staff and clients




- Maintain equipment and prepare facilities for groups

Requirements:

- Current National Lifeguard certification
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
- Experience working with children or youth of varying needs
- Outdoor recreation and large-group management experience
- Availability for weekends, evenings, and shared on-call shifts
