As a Polisher with Wekid Mfg., you will complete final surface finishes for products made by the MAKR Group brand. The work requires fabrication drawing interpretation, polishing equipment operation, and familiarity with fabrication processes. You will also track job time digitally and collaborate across manufacturing functions to improve products, processes, and workplace conditions.
Key Responsibilities: Read fabrication drawings for grind symbols
Operate cutting, grinding, testing, and drilling tools safely
Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely
Track job time using tablets and barcode systems
Collaborate with Quality Control, Engineering, Safety, and Management
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar polishing role
Experience with power and hand tools
Understanding of fabrication processes
Ability to interpret fabrication drawings
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Use polishing, tool operation, and drawing interpretation skills to deliver quality Wekid Mfg. finishes in Kelowna.
