Fowler Construction seeks an experienced Highway Maintenance Foreperson for expanded Winter Maintenance Operations in Sudbury East. This position oversees patrol activities, subcontracted work, safety talks, and winter operations. It requires highway maintenance knowledge, equipment experience, and explicit communication while meeting contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Patrol roads and communicate hazards or deficiencies
Respond to accidents, spills, and roadway incidents
Monitor weather and dispatch winter maintenance equipment
Lead crews and organize miscellaneous road maintenance
Complete required operational records and reports
Requirements: Valid DZ or equivalent driver's license
Strong highway maintenance knowledge and equipment experience
Ability to lead and direct staff
Clear oral and written communication skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb
