About the Role
As Centre Director, you will lead the day-to-day operations and culture of our Hamptons centre while ensuring a high standard of care, professionalism, and early learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

Building trusting relationships with educators, children, and families

Coaching, mentoring, and developing educators to support their growth

Creating a positive, cooperative, and accountable workplace culture

Overseeing staffing, scheduling, and daily centre operations

Maintaining health, safety, and licensing standards in accordance with Alberta requirements

Supporting recruitment, onboarding, staff retention, and performance management

Partnering with our Pedagogistas to strengthen programming and pedagogical practice

Collaborating with the broader leadership team to continuously improve centre quality and outcomes

What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a thoughtful, capable leader who can balance strong operational management with a people-centred approach.

Required qualifications and experience:

Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification

At least one year of leadership experience in a licensed childcare setting

Strong understanding of Alberta Child Care Licensing requirements

Experience leading, coaching, and supporting a team

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

A current Vulnerable Sector Check or the ability to obtain one

Previous Centre Director experience is an asset, as is familiarity with Reggio Emilia-inspired practice, emergent curriculum, or nature-based learning.
