Cancer Care Alberta seeks a Radiation Therapist II for its Central Alberta Cancer Centre. You will supervise Radiation Therapist I staff, mentor colleagues and students, and orient new staff. The program uses Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators and a Phillips Big-bore CT-Simulator.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise Radiation Therapists within your rostered area
Mentor staff and students across experience levels
Ensure accurate, exact treatment delivery
Carry out required Quality Assurance procedures
Monitor, document, and report equipment problems
Requirements: Complete an accredited Canadian Radiation Therapy program
Hold active or eligible ACMDTT registration
Maintain Basic Life Support certification
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
Protect privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information
Apply Radiation Therapy leadership, treatment accuracy, and equipment monitoring skills within Central Alberta Cancer Centre’s collaborative program.
