Fraser Health is hiring a casual Respiratory Therapist for Ridge Meadows Hospital. The position maintains a clinical caseload, provides direct care, and educates patients with diverse respiratory illnesses. You will perform respiratory function testing, support mechanical ventilation, and contribute to respiratory service planning.
Key Responsibilities: Assess patients and develop care plans or education sessions
Perform pulmonary function and respiratory therapy tests
Monitor equipment calibration and quality control checks
Support cardiac arrest and trauma teams
Maintain ventilation support and artificial airways
Requirements: Approved Respiratory Therapy program graduation
Two years’ recent acute care clinical experience
Successful Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam
Current CPR Level C and Neonatal Program certification
Eligible for Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists membership
