As a Building Technician, you will support building operational health for a key industrial client. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will perform maintenance, coordinate vendors, and manage planned preventive maintenance. The work combines technical service delivery with safety, troubleshooting, and facility coordination.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Execute planned preventive maintenance for critical equipment
Resolve CMMS service requests within defined service levels
Coordinate third-party vendors and contractors
Conduct inspections and champion health and safety protocols
Requirements: Three to five years of building maintenance experience
Strong HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems knowledge
Technical diploma or degree in a related discipline
Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights
Bring hands-on maintenance, CMMS, troubleshooting, and safety expertise to JLL’s on-site Building Technician team in Fort McMurray.
