The Home Depot seeks a Heavy Equipment Technician for its Large Equipment Fleet. This mobile position serves as the technical expert for maintenance, inspections, and repairs across assigned stores. You will support Tool Rental Center associates, Mobile Service Technicians, and customers while planning your workflow independently.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair gas, diesel, hydraulic, electrical, braking, and fuel systems
Complete preventative maintenance, store inspections, and pre-delivery inspections
Coordinate equipment deployments, transfers, and auctions across assigned stores




Order replacement parts within 48 hours of equipment downtime
Provide equipment training and resolve urgent customer service calls
Requirements: Provincial Journeyman or Interprovincial Red Seal certification
Maintain Mobile Elevated Work Platform certifications
Minimum two years of relevant heavy equipment experience
Read complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repair manuals
Hold a valid clean driver’s record and provide standard trade tools
Apply heavy equipment diagnostics, fleet maintenance, and customer support expertise across The Home Depot’s Vancouver operations.
