Maintain WoodGreen properties onsite at 2 Laxton Avenue, Toronto, using preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and building systems expertise. This permanent full time position follows weekday hours.
As a Building Operator, you will maintain and repair equipment, property, and buildings across WoodGreen sites. The work includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, life safety, and security systems. You will inspect equipment, read technical manuals, operate tools, support contractors, and respond to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems
Inspect mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and security equipment
Troubleshoot problems and report accurate information to management




Assist contractors during regular operations and emergencies
Perform rotating after-hours on-call duties
Requirements: Completed secondary school and building trade technician qualification
Experience maintaining large computerized commercial buildings
Experience with air distribution systems and air conditioning
Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, squat, and climb
Apply building systems knowledge, equipment maintenance, and emergency response skills as a WoodGreen Building Operator in Toronto.
