At SGH, you will join a team of curious and talented designers focused on corporate workplace design, along with an expanding portfolio in hospitality and multi family residential projects.The PositionAs Team Lead, you will play a key role in collaborating with the project team to ensure design intent is translated into working drawings and documentation across all project phases, from pre-design through project close out. You will collaborate directly with one or more of our partners, ensuring a high level of engagement, accountability, and design leadership throughout each project.What You BringUnderstanding of workplace design trendsDemonstrated success in managing teams and delivering workplace projectsStrong visualization and concept development skills,



with the ability to translate design concepts into clear, detailed design solutions.Excellent problem-solving and time management skillsCommitment to knowledge sharing and alignment with SGH delivery standardsFamiliar with local building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design frameworksKnowledge of sustainable design principles (LEED, WELL, Fitwel, etc.)Key ResponsibilitiesLead and contribute to design dialogue across project phases and teamsApply knowledge of workplace design trends, visioning, and culture-driven design strategiesLead projects of mid to large scale and complexity (75,000 SF+)Plan and facilitate visioning sessions; document and analyze outcomesPrepare project budgets, schedules, and client presentations when requiredReview and coordinate drawings and documentation internally and with engineering consultantsEnsure drawings comply with building codes and accessibility requirementsGuide projects from pre-lease through concept, design development, and constructionLead concept development and oversee design direction with project teamsSupervise preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentsManage tender processes, including documentation and tender analysisOversee construction administration including site visits, change notices, site instructions, and certificates for
