Essential Responsibilities

- Operate excavators ranging from 13-15T safely and efficiently
- Complete daily pre-use inspections and report any equipment deficiencies or maintenance requirements
- Follow site-specific safety procedures and manufacturer operating guidelines
- Perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and material handling activities
- Work closely with site supervision and ground crews to complete work safely and according to project specifications
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance requirements




- Follow all company safety policies and site-specific procedures
- Adhere to all Ledcor, client, and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements

Requirements

- 3+ years experience operating excavators in a construction or industrial environment
- Finish grade experience is required
- Can operate equipment without GPS
- Understanding of industrial site safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial or construction environment
- Valid issued government photo Identification
- Valid Ground Disturbance L2 certification
- Project-specific online orientations must be completed

Work Conditions

- 10 days on, 4 days off rotational schedule
