Job Number: 56317The Edmonton Police Service is seeking an experienced leader in technology implementation, organizational change, and business analysis to serve as Manager of the Technology Integration & Records Section (TIRS). Reporting to the Director of Information Governance and Support Branch, the Manager leads the Section in bridging the gap between information management, technology, and operational policing by integrating new and changing technologies and related business processes into EPS operations. The Section provides business analysis, organizational change management, curriculum design and service wide technical and operational training, implementation support, and operational process and procedure development for records, digital evidence, disclosure, and other assigned technologies. The role translates business needs into practical requirements, change strategies, procedures, communications, training, and readiness plans; supports transition into ongoing service and support; and advises the Director on implementation risks, resource requirements, adoption, and organizational impacts.
The

key responsibilities
will include:Oversee TIRS contributions to technology initiatives and projects,



including requirements, deliverables, timelines, implementation risks, dependencies, and coordination of approved work.
Lead organizational change activities for new and changing technologies, including stakeholder engagement, communications, impact assessment, adoption planning, and implementation readiness.
Oversee business analysis to identify business and user needs, workflows, requirements, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement associated with recent or changing technologies and processes.
Assess business and organizational impacts and develop practical recommendations for technology and process changes that support investigations, information management, disclosure, and other Service needs.
Oversee curriculum design and the development and delivery of service wide technical and business process training, Learning Management System content, and related policy, procedure, training materials, and supporting documentation.
Support the transition of new or changed technologies into ongoing service and support through documentation, knowledge
