Provide overnight residential support in Euphemia as a full time temporary Night Awake Counsellor, using communication and problem-solving skills. Reassignment within Residential Services may occur.

This 12-month Residential Services assignment supports residents during awake overnight hours, with possible day, evening, or night sleep shifts. Counsellors assist with personal life plans, complex needs support plans, behaviour support plans, and daily living activities. The position promotes independence, self-esteem, self-confidence, and community participation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide overnight awake support for residents
- Implement personal life and support plans
- Support self-care, leisure, and interpersonal skills
- Complete documentation, records,



and data collection
- Respond appropriately to illness, injury, and critical situations

Requirements:

- Preferred developmental disabilities or human services education
- Preferred one to two years of support experience
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certificate
- Safe Management Certification
- Microsoft Office and written communication competency

Support residents overnight through compassionate planning, documentation, communication, and protected responses across Residential Services.
