This AZ/DZ Industrial Driver position supports GFL Timmins’s liquids division. The work includes preparing equipment, securing loads, completing trip inspections, and handling manifests. Drivers follow requirements covering dangerous goods, hours of service, customs, safety, weights, and dimensions. The position also includes loading coordination and vehicle reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee cargo handling and secure loads safely
Prepare equipment and apply secure operating practices
Perform trip inspections on equipment and loads
Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
Maintain working-hour and vehicle-service logs
Requirements: AZ/DZ Industrial Driver qualification
Familiarity with manifests and government documents
Knowledge of transportation and occupational safety legislation
Ability to check mechanical and emergency equipment
Ability to report defects, accidents, violations, or damage
