Develop real estate investment analysis skills at IMCO in downtown Toronto, using Excel and ARGUS during the May to August 2027 term.
This internship supports undergraduate students who completed second, third, or fourth year, and recent graduates entering investment management. You will contribute to property-level financial modelling, valuation analysis, market research, and asset monitoring. The work supports Associate Portfolio Managers and the broader Real Estate team across investments, portfolio management, and priority workstreams.
Key Responsibilities: Support cash flow forecasting, valuation analysis, and performance attribution
Complete property-level analysis and ad hoc underwriting in Excel and ARGUS
Research markets, sectors, and comparable properties for investment decisions
Prepare periodic and ad hoc portfolio analysis
Monitor real estate assets and provide portfolio status updates
Requirements: Undergraduate study completed through second, third, or fourth year
Understanding of real estate investment, accounting, and valuation principles
Robust Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Knowledge of ARGUS is an asset
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
Build practical investment management experience through financial modelling, valuation, research, and portfolio monitoring at IMCO.
