Drive safety excellence as a Driver Trainer with Armour Transportation Systems, using driver education and compliance expertise in Dartmouth or St. John's.
This Driver Trainer supports professional drivers through orientation, training, evaluation, coaching, and operational guidance. The work includes ELD support, transportation regulations, and safety activities. You will contribute to certification requirements, communications, and incident response while supporting occupational health and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver new driver orientation and safe, compliant onboarding training
Support forklift, TDG, WHMIS, and in-cab training programs
Provide ELD guidance to drivers and operations teams
Conduct Job Safety Observations, Dock Audits, and compliance activities




Facilitate safety meetings, communications, and engagement events
Requirements: Valid Class 1 licence with air brake endorsement
Experience evaluating, educating, coaching, and supporting qualified drivers
Knowledge of federal and provincial transportation regulations
Experience using ELD and onboard technology solutions
Strong organization, time management, and follow-through skills
Bring driver education, ELD knowledge, and transportation compliance experience to Armour Transportation Systems' safety-focused training team.
