We are building a feature film slate from the ground up, and the people we hire now will shape how we develop, finance, produce, and deliver our films.Role SummaryThe Feature Film Line Producer will build and manages the day-to-day shooting budgets, operational schedules, vendor accounts, and freelance crew staffing for every project, and is the person who makes sure each film is delivered on time and on budget.Key ResponsibilitiesBreak down scripts and build detailed production budgets and shooting schedules in collaboration with the producers and directorManage day-to-day production spend, track costs against budget, and flag variances early with proposed solutionsSet up and manage vendor accounts, negotiate rates, and issue and track purchase orders and contractsRecruit, hire, and contract freelance crew across departments, and negotiate crew deal memos within budgetBuild and maintain operational schedules covering prep, principal photography, wrap,



and post handoverWork closely with the Production Accountant on cash flow, cost reports, and tax incentive documentationWork with the Production Coordinator on logistics, travel, equipment, insurance, and crew onboardingLead production meetings and communicate budget and schedule status to producers, executives, and financiersEnsure productions follow applicable guild and union agreements, health and safety requirements, and insurance conditionsDevelop repeatable budgeting, scheduling, and vendor processes that can scale as the film slate growsQualifications5+ years of experience in production management, including line producing or UPM work on feature films or comparable long-form scripted contentProven track record delivering projects on time and within budgetAdvanced proficiency with budgeting and scheduling tools and softwaresStrong vendor negotiation and crew deal-making skillsExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills; calm under pressureComfortable building processes in a new, quick-growing divisionPrior experience working in both Canadian and U.
