Penske’s Maintenance Manager Trainee assignment lasts eighteen months and prepares candidates for Maintenance Supervisor or related growth opportunities. The program combines rigorous on-the-job training with people management, process improvement, inventory control, customer experience, safety, rental, and financial responsibilities. Candidates must communicate effectively, stay organized, influence others, and work comfortably within matrixed reporting relationships. The final rotation is a one-year shop assignment with people management responsibility.
