Operate Class 1 commercial vehicles across Lakeland’s local routes, using safe driving practices and completing detailed vehicle inspections. Full time local and camp-based positions are available.
Lakeland HR Solutions recruits reliable, safety-conscious Class 1 Drivers for regional clients. Assignments may include aggregate hauling, fluid or water transfer, industrial deliveries, freight delivery, and municipal routes. Drivers support local highways, gravel roads, and job sites.
Key Responsibilities: Operate commercial vehicles on local roads and job sites
Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
Maintain logbooks, bills of lading, and service sheets
Secure loads using chains, straps, or tarping systems




Report defects and comply with transport regulations
Requirements: Valid Alberta Class 1 license with Air Brake endorsement
Clean or acceptable Commercial Driver’s Abstract
At least three years of verifiable commercial driving experience
Valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSTS or CSO tickets
Off-road, gravel, or manual transmission experience is an asset
Bring Class 1 driving experience, careful inspections, and secure load handling to Lakeland routes supporting regional client operations.
