This Registered Practical Nurse provides skilled care within a residence and supports required nursing practice. You will collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, external partners, and health care teams. The role requires knowledge of long-term care nursing, applicable legislation, and College of Nurses of Ontario standards.
Key Responsibilities: Implement AgeCare policies and procedures with Registered Nurses
Liaise with physicians and external health care partners
Notify physicians about significant resident status changes
Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team




Participate in shift reports and share resident updates
Requirements: Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
Background in activation, nursing, and personnel administration
Knowledge of applicable federal, provincial, and municipal statutes
Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
Membership in good standing with the College of Nurses
