Support environmental projects through field surveys and office analysis as a Junior Biologist at BBA, with work split approximately evenly.
As a Junior Biologist or Junior Environmental Qualified, you will support multidisciplinary project delivery under experienced professionals. Your work will span energy, mining, infrastructure, commercial, and private development sectors. You will contribute to biophysical characterization, impact studies, permit applications, data management, and technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with flora, fauna, aquatic, soil, and ecosystem surveys
Participate in environmental impact assessments and related studies
Support permit and authorization applications
Compile, enter, and validate environmental data




Draft inventories, baseline studies, and environmental assessment reports
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental science, or related field
One to three years of relevant experience
Interest or initial experience conducting field surveys
Excellent writing and communication skills
Knowledge of MS Office Suite; ArcGIS knowledge is an asset
Bring rigorous environmental practice, field survey interest, data skills, and technical writing to BBA’s multidisciplinary project teams.
