About Chexy At Chexy, we're building modern financial tools for Canadians, starting with their largest expenses. We turned rent, mortgages, tuition, insurance and other big bills into opportunities to earn rewards, improve cash flow and get more from money they already have to spend. We're the first platform in Canada that lets people pay nearly any bill with a credit card while unlocking cashback, points and financial flexibility. Billions in payments move through Chexy, our customer base is growing fast, and we've just relaunched the brand. Over the next 12 months we launch several new products, starting with our first credit card in Q1 2027.We're backed by Khosla Ventures, Crossbeam Venture Partners and Venrex, and we partner with Aeroplan and other leading Canadian financial and telecom brands.About the role Chexy is hiring a Director, Growth Marketing to own how new customers find Chexy and how efficiently we acquire them. You report to the CMO and own paid acquisition end to end: budget and channel mix, creative testing, landing page conversion and measurement. One person reports to you, a Manager (or Senior Associate), Growth, who tests new channels under your direction. This is a performance seat first. Roughly two thirds of what you've done should be paid media: owning real budgets across Meta, Google, Tik Tok, You Tube and affiliate, and moving CAC and payback. The other third is the wider growth toolkit: referral mechanics, contests, creators, partnerships as a channel, and the unconventional tests a challenger brand needs. You run on agents. Bidding is platform automation, and the production and reporting work is done by agents you build. Your job is allocation, the testing cadence, deciding what to believe, and where the next dollar goes. We currently work with an agency on paid execution; you decide what stays with them and what comes in-house.We care about taste, speed and results. What you’ll own Paid acquisitionThe paid budget across Meta, Google, Tik Tok, You Tube, affiliate and whatever comes next: channel mix, pacing, and the case for every dollarCAC and payback by channel and by customer segment (renters, homeowners, Gen Z, newcomers)Landing page conversion, with the Senior Brand Designer: what gets tested, what shipsCreative testingA weekly creative testing cadence: briefs, hooks, formats, what gets killed and what scalesThe creative pipeline with the designer and agents:

volume from agents, selection by humansMeasurementIncrementality and holdout tests, and a view of what actually drives signups rather than what the platforms claimThe weekly growth read to the CMO: what worked, what didn’t, what’s nextNew channels and experimentsA pipeline of tests on channels we don’t run yet, executed by your Manager, Growth: referral mechanics, creators, contests, partnership activations, community, offlineFast kills and fast scalingAgency and agentsThe agency relationship: scope, what stays with them, what comes in-house, and whenYour own agents: reporting, anomaly detection, creative fatigue flags, search query mining, budget and bid recommendationsComplianceEvery claim in paid gets reviewed. You build the rulebook so review takes hours, not weeksWhat success looks like Twelve months in:Blended CAC and payback are at or better than plan, with incrementality tests behind the numbers rather than platform‑reported attributionPaid signups activate at the rate the plan assumes; you and the lifecycle lead share the 30‑day activation numberAt least one new channel has gone from test to a meaningful share of signups, and the losers were killed within weeksLanding page conversion is up measurably, with a test shipping every weekThe agency’s scope is deliberately smaller or gone, and in‑house output is higherYour Manager, Growth runs a test pipeline you would trust unsupervised for a weekAgents produce the weekly reporting and most of the creative variants; your time goes to decisionsWhat we’re looking for 6+ years in growth or performance marketing, in‑house at a consumer app, fintech, telco or subscription business, with roughly 60 to 70% of that time owning paid mediaYou have owned a meaningful paid budget end to end and can show what happened to CAC and payback while you held itYou have run growth beyond paid: referral, creators, contests, partnerships or organic,

with results you can point toYou write SQL and are comfortable in Big Query or equivalent; you build your own automations and agents (Zapier, n8n, Python, LLM APIs) and can describe one that broke and how you fixed itYou have designed and run incrementality or holdout tests and changed spend because of themYou have managed an agency and know when to use one and when not toYou can lead one person without turning into a manager: you still run campaigns yourselfStrong plus: Canadian consumer market experience; a regulated or claims‑sensitive category (fintech, telco, insurance); landing page CRO; French. This probably isn’t the role for you if You have only ever bought media and have never run an experiment outside Meta and GoogleYou come from an agency and have never owned a number in‑houseYou want to manage a team rather than run campaignsAI on your resume means using Chat GPT for ad copyYou need a data team to pull your numbersYou can’t say what your last budget was or what it didWhy join Chexy? Own the growth engine: one person, a real budget, no committeeScale a brand that just relaunched: recent creative, new products, and our first credit card in Q1 2027Work the way performance marketing is going to work: agents on production and reporting, you on decisionsA real lever on the company: acquisition efficiency is the number the board watchesWork with the CMO and the founders: small team, fast decisionsEquity: meaningful equity in a high‑growth fintechToronto office: we work in‑office 5 days a weekHow we hire We keep our hiring process clear and human. You'll go through a mix of conversational interviews and practical discussions designed to show how you think, what you’ve built and how you work with others. Expect to walk us through a budget you owned and what happened to CAC, an incrementality test you ran and what you changed because of it, and an automation or agent you built that ran without you.We use AI tools to help us organize and review applications; every decision about who we interview and who we hire is made by a person. This posting is for an existing vacancy. If you interview with us, we'll let you know within days of your last interview whether a decision has been made.Chexy is an equal opportunity employer. If you require any accommodations or support during the hiring process, let us know and we'll do our best to help.#J-18808-Ljbffr
