Operate brake lathes, tire machinery, and wheel balancers as a Service Person at Metrolinx’s Streetsville Garage. Work Monday to Friday afternoons.

This contract position lasts up to eight months and supports bus maintenance at Metrolinx. You will mount and balance tires, rebuild brakes, diagnose detached components, and assist Coach Technicians. The work supports GO Transit vehicles within the Greater Golden Horseshoe.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate brake lathe machinery
- Operate tire mounting and wheel balancing machinery
- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild detached bus components
- Inspect, mount, and balance bus tires
- Assist Coach Technicians with preventative maintenance repairs

Requirements:

- High school completion emphasizing motor vehicle repairs
- Minimum one year mounting and balancing tires
- Brake rebuilding experience in bus or heavy vehicle maintenance
- Valid Ontario Class G licence and valuable driving record
- Ability to obtain Class C licence and Z endorsement
