Reporting to the Culinary Manager, this Cook prepares and delivers all foods for residents, guests, and employees. The work includes reviewing menus, following standardized recipes, managing special diets, and maintaining protected food practices. Cogir Senior Living operates independent living, assisted living, and memory care residences across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver foods for residents, guests, and employees
- Review menus and production sheets before preparing meals
- Prepare and serve attractive therapeutic and specialty diets




- Complete temperature audits and record daily findings
- Follow recipes, production charts, menus, budgets, and service schedules

Requirements:

- Food Handler's Certificate required
- Large quantity food preparation experience required
- Healthcare or retirement setting experience preferred
- Knowledge of provincial food regulations and Canada's Food Guide
- Ability to lift heavy, hot items and stand most shifts
