General Accountability

The Senior Buyer is responsible for the strategic procurement of direct and indirect materials, components, services, and capital equipment required to support the manufacturing and distribution of medical devices. This role ensures uninterrupted supply, cost optimization, supplier performance management,



and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The Senior Buyer collaborates closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, Finance, and Suppliers to support operational objectives and customer commitments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Procurement & Supply Management

- Manage procurement activities for raw materials, components, subassemblies, packaging, and indirect spend categories.
- Execute purchasing transactions including purchase orders, supplier agreements, and contract renewals.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules and customer demand.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance, lead times, and inventory levels to minimize supply disruptions.

Strategic Sourcing

- Lead sourcing initiatives to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and supply continuity.
- Identify, qualify, and develop alternative suppliers to reduce risk and improve competitiveness.
