This position assists intercompany departments with ongoing projects requiring additional personnel support. Task assignments may include general building maintenance, shipping/receiving, project site assistance and other tasks or projects. As training and skills are acquired, the Group Services General Labourer will continue to be assigned diverse and increasingly challenging tasks. Depending on project assignments, some travel may be required. and communityWhat You'll Be DoingOperate forklift, overhead crane, loader, telehandler, or other equipment to load/unload, transport, and store goodsOperation of company vehicles, including 1-ton trucks and trailers (e.G., gooseneck, flatbeds, etc.)Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures regarding shipping and receiving to provide backup assistance to the warehouseUnpack, code/tag, and route goods to appropriate storage areasPick items to fulfill customer requests from Order DeskAssist with loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyancesAssist Outside Sales department with delivery/pickup of:Rental equipmentNew equipment salesAssist in intercompany projects requiring additional personnel resources or supportSystem maintenance, install and repair (in Progressioner, Fall Protection, Suspended Access departments)Mining related inspections (e.G., hoist truck, wire rope, electrical cable)Skip and skip attachment, including maintenance and repairAssist with general facilities maintenanceWarehouse/yard maintenanceCleaningSnow removalAssist with cleaning, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools, as requiredPerform regular equipment checks and maintenanceCheck fire extinguishersFluids and greasing maintenanceOther duties and tasks as assignedWhat You Bring To The TableMinimum grade 12 or equivalent preferred but not requiredPrevious work experience in construction, landscaping, warehouse operations, mechanic shops, mining, or similar industrial workplace is considered an asset but not requiredExperience working with hand tools and operating machinery is preferred; candidates with limitedor no experience may be considered,
