Support residents at Extendicare Tuxedo Villa in Winnipeg as a casual Health Care Aide providing personal care and daily living assistance.

Reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness, you will follow individualized care plans and complete selected tasks within your knowledge and skills. The position involves supporting seniors with hygiene, mobility, meals, communication, and emotional needs. Extendicare’s standards, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct guide your work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Support ambulation, mobilization, transfers, and adaptive aids
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to supervisors
- Prepare nutritious meals and maintain secure, clean environments




- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support

Requirements:

- Health Care Aide program graduate or provincial equivalent certificate
- Experience working with seniors in community health services
- Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and customer focus skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Current First Aid and Basic Cardiac Life Support recommended
