This role involves supervising activities, maintaining equipment, and proactively engaging with members. You will ensure that our Fitness Centre remains a safe and enjoyable space while being responsible for delivering Y Thrive coaching sessions.Key Responsibilities:Oversee activities within the Fitness Centre for safetyProactively engage with members, anticipating their needsMonitor and address fitness centre etiquette issuesPerform regular cleaning and maintenance of equipmentConduct fitness orientations and respond to inquiriesRequirements:Experience in a customer service role preferredObtain Y Thrive Coaching YMCA certification within 3 monthsPost-secondary education in a related field is an assetAble to obtain a Police Information CheckIntermediate First Aid and CPR-C certification requiredMake a difference at the YMCA, supporting members in their fitness journeys and enhancing community health.
