This full-time permanent GIS and Records Technician role focuses on drawings, maps, diagrams, tracings, and construction details. You will maintain operational records, support design work, and collaborate professionally with others. The position requires attention to electric utility regulations, departmental procedures, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and revise electrical, mechanical, architectural, and civil drawings
- Maintain as-built construction data and operational records
- Conduct transmission, distribution, and joint-use surveys




- Prepare blueprints, photocopies, and required reproductions
- Organize maps, drawings, and land surveying records

Requirements:

- Completion of a two-year technology program
- Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s Licence
- Working knowledge of electric theory elements
- Knowledge of departmental procedures
- Mapping applications knowledge and experience
