Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Controller to lead the finance and accounting functions for a multi-entity business. This role will work closely with the owner to guide financial strategy, strengthen business performance, manage risk, and support long-term growth.

The successful candidate will bring solid financial leadership and a hands-on approach to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow management, and business operations. Beyond finance, this role will oversee key administrative functions, including payroll, human resources, and IT, helping ensure the business operates efficiently and remains compliant with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

- Partner with the owner to develop financial strategies, assess business performance,



identify risks, and recommend practical solutions to improve profitability and support growth.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and long-term financial modelling to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including monthly profit and loss results, budget comparisons, cash flow forecasts, and consolidated financial statements.
